We do not issue refunds for any reason. Cancellations made 20 or more days before class transfer as a credit toward a future class within one year.

We will mail you your student book 2 weeks before your class date, not from the time of your course registration.

  • Do you have a shared or community mailbox? Please check with the people you share your mailbox with.
  • Do you live in an apartment building? Did you include your apartment number when you registered? Do you have a small mailbox? Check with your building manager. The delivery person may have left the package out in the community space.
  • Need to fix your address? If your class is more than 15 days away and your book has not shipped yet, you can update your address yourself in your student dashboard.
  • If your class is less than 15 days away, or if your book has already shipped, email us so we can help. Once a book is mailed to the address on file, any additional shipped book will result in a $35.00 replacement fee.

Email us if your class is within the next 5 days and you don't have your book.

You are required to use a computer or tablet to participate in the Alive at 25® and ADoD Classes.

Can you borrow a computer or tablet from a friend or family member? Can you use a school or work computer?

This information is emailed to students both 1 week and 1 hour before class.

  • Check that you provided us with your correct email address.
  • Check your SPAM folder.

You do not need a Zoom account to join a Zoom meeting. If someone invites you to their meeting, you can participate without creating or signing in to an account. Simply click on the link emailed to you. However, a Zoom account allows you to update personal settings to get the most out of your Zoom virtual class experience. It is free and easy to do.

Install Zoom on the same device you will use for class at least one day before the class date. Test your camera, microphone and speakers ahead of time so you are not troubleshooting at check-in.

Zoom shows live captions of what the instructor and students are saying. You turn them on yourself from the bottom Zoom toolbar after you join the class. Your instructor cannot turn captions on for you.

Yes, but it must be arranged in advance. Zoom can translate live captions into Español and many other languages while the instructor teaches in English, but the instructor has to enable your language before class begins.

The easiest way is to pick your caption language during enrollment. There is a Class Caption Language pulldown on the registration form. The instructor sees your selection and enables it before class.

Most camera and microphone problems are fixed by checking that Zoom has permission to use your camera and microphone, choosing the correct device from the Zoom audio and video menus, and closing other apps that may be using them.

Brief disconnects are usually fine. Rejoin using the same Zoom link from your confirmation email. You may not be away from class for more than five minutes total or the National Safety Council rules require us to mark you absent.

The chat is how you ask questions, answer the instructor's prompts, and get help if your microphone is not working. Open the chat panel from the bottom Zoom toolbar.

According to the rules and expectations included in your registration and emailed to you as a reminder, students must check in to their classes 45 minutes before the start time, have their book and government ID, and have a computer or tablet. Students must attend the entire class and not lose internet service for more than five minutes.

Late students are not admitted to classes. There are no refunds for missed classes.

  • Students are required to check into their class 45 minutes before the start time to allow time for all students to check in and for you to complete a pre-class assignment provided at that time.
  • Students who are late and not admitted will need to register for a new course and pay again. There are no refunds for late students.

Please log in to your account and go to find a course. Select "Enroll" for the course you would like to take. There are no refunds for missed classes.

You must use your existing account to sign up for a new class (same username and password).

If you already registered for a course and want to transfer to a different one, log in to your account where you can view all past and current registrations.

You can cancel an upcoming enrollment up to 20 days before the start of the class and will then be able to register for a new class. Your payment will transfer to your new class as long as the new class is within one year of the payment date.

  • Have you already received your student book? You can add a class yourself up to 14 days before the new start date. If the class is within 14 days, you can email us to see if there is room in it.

Order a replacement certificate from your student dashboard. Log in, choose Replacement Requests, and select Certificate.

The replacement fee is $35.00, and you should allow approximately two weeks for processing and delivery. We can replace your certificate within one year of your original course completion.

In accordance with the rules of the National Safety Council, we are not allowed to send certificates electronically.

Why is there a fee to replace my certificate? The National Safety Council provides one certificate per book. If we replace your certificate, we must purchase a new book set for you and pay for shipping and handling.

Log in to your account and click the Edit button next to the information you want to update, including your email address, phone number, mailing address, or language preference.

Click 'Forgot Password' on the login page and enter your email address. You will receive a link to reset your password. If you don't receive the email, check your spam folder or contact us.

Log in to your account to view your payment history and any available credits. To enroll in a class, select a course and complete the enrollment process. If you have a credit from a previous cancellation, it will be applied automatically during checkout.
